Rare Flutes

I only have two complaints. My first is that certain instruments seem to ignore staccato marks (luckily just halving the note duration and leaving rests between gets them to sound right). My second is that I'd like to have higher-ranged versions of the ocarina and panpipe included; the panpipe in particular is labelled "panpipe low" despite not having a normal "panpipe" counterpart.

I don't think I've regretted my purchase, these are some amazing sounds. I imagine these will get better as the Muse Sounds playback system itself gets better.

Comparing the MuseSounds version to the original isn’t exactly fair, as it serves a different purpose. Where it excels is in providing a simple playback option for monitoring demos, making it a convenient tool for quick previews. However, it falls short for major projects where is needs to serve with more focus. The majority of the sounds struggle with natural legato, often feeling overly artificial or disconnected. That said, there was one exception that sounded surprisingly great. If you’re planning to use it for anything beyond basic playback and adding some spice, I highly recommend going for the Kontakt version instead. It offers significantly more control over dynamics and performance, making it a far better choice for serious compositions. Overall, 10/10 for certain use cases, but not a substitute for professional-grade libraries.
