Nythera Corda is a free otherworldly ensemble strings synth by Uryan Audio, designed for cinematic layers, emotional string-like textures, wide atmospheric movement and futuristic digital-acoustic ensemble sounds. Nythera Corda is not a traditional orchestral string instrument and does not try to reproduce a real violin section or symphonic string library. Instead, it explores the sound of an imagined alien ensemble: expressive, spacious, synthetic, organic and slightly unfamiliar. Create wide cinematic pads, dark ensemble layers, shimmering atmospheric textures, evolving string-like drones and futuristic digital-acoustic soundscapes. Ideal for ambient, cinematic scoring, downtempo, experimental electronics, trance, melodic techno, soundtrack work and atmospheric music production.

What’s new
- Version 1.0.1 improves the main interface and sound-shaping behaviour of Nythera Corda. The large selector orbs have been refined for a more accurate and reliable control experience, while the updated GUI makes the single-page workflow clearer and more polished. Macro knob ranges have also been adjusted so the available controls produce more useful and clearly audible changes across the instrument’s sound palette. This update keeps Nythera Corda simple and immediate, while making its core controls feel more musical, responsive and practical in everyday use.
