Description

Berlin Strings is a beautiful and uncompromising strings sample library, recorded in pristine and meticulous detail at Teldex Studios, Berlin. A phenomenal collection of string samples, with a consistent selection of articulations, wonderfully smooth legato and portamento interval samples , a plethora of repetition samples for short notes and an uncompromising attention to detail. This is surely the jewel in the crown of the collection, for those that demand and expect the best. The Berlin Series is Orchestral Tools’ flagship orchestral collection, produced over the course of 8 years by a first-call team of musicians and engineers, and designed to provide the ultimate foundation for any composer’s playback needs. All instruments and sections were recorded “in-situ” - within their traditional seating arrangement of a symphony orchestra - and with the recorded natural dynamics remain untouched throughout the editing process to preserve the natural orchestral balance achieved when performing in a beautiful acoustic space. This provides perfect and seamless blending of all libraries within the Berlin Collection, such as Berlin Brass and Berlin Woodwinds. This Muse Sounds Edition is designed to work exclusively with the Muse Sounds engine, found only inside MuseScore Studio and StaffPad.

Extremely dissapointed. Free Musesounds library works much better. There's no sense in "great sound" when this sound doesn't play in time. + Dynamics problems, like some notes randomly louder then another, so you can't build any phrase. I hope developers will fix all this stuff. Probably free Musesounds sounds great, just technically: phrases are builds and notes playing in time. So it's should be possible to fix Berlin libraries. At the moment Berlin libraries sucks.

I'm leaving my review here that it is in desperate need of fixes. Spiccato violins I is playing the wrong articulation while the rest plays the same. No default vibrato. Molto Vibrato full head-on.

Sounds are great, maybe they should add more techniques like "bartok pizzicato" and others.

Has a great timbre that resonates well with me.

Although not the most cinematic or warm sound, these strings have great articulations and dynamics, and are especially good for articulate and technically passages in orchestral music. One thing to note is that the violin is SIGNIFICANTLY quieter in the lower notes. The cello is pretty good though

I've been looking for a string library that has that Hollywood flavor on MuseHub, and I found it. Thank you, Orchestral Tools, for putting so much soul into this library.

There are probably better packs out there, but for the price I'm not complaining. Please fix the glissandi, I'm begging you.

Broski

Really nice and warm sound.
