Vaelyra Stryn is a resonant synthesizer built around the concept of an imagined futuristic string instrument. Instead of recreating traditional acoustic instruments, it combines plucking, striking, resonance, damping, body materials, and sympathetic vibration into unique digital-acoustic textures. The instrument is centered around three primary sound-shaping controls. Exciter defines how the sound begins, Stryn Core selects the resonant body character, and String shapes the vibration and harmonic response. Together, they allow the instrument to move between wooden, metallic, crystalline, hollow, dark, and more abstract sonic identities. A collection of macro controls provides fast access to tonal shaping, body resonance, width, ambience, warmth, and brightness, while integrated spatial effects expand the sound with additional depth and movement. Inspire and Evolve functions generate new musical starting points and related variations, encouraging exploration without relying on completely random parameter changes.
